Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Robertsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Robertsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Khan Lee!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertsson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Robertsson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lee's head.
Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Robertsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robertsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.

Lee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Lee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Robertsson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lee to the mat. Lee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, if Lee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lee takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Robertsson manages to get to full guard.
Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Robertsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Robertsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.

Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robertsson's guard.

Lee is looking to advance position but Robertsson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Robertsson looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.
Robertsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robertsson off to one side.
Robertsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Robertsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robertsson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lee defends well and Robertsson ends up having to push Lee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Robertsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee throws a strike but Robertsson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Robertsson won't allow Lee to get back to his feet.
Lee has his hands on Robertsson's head, controlling the position.

Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lee will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Robertsson defends well.

Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
No luck for Robertsson with that takedown attempt.

Khan Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Lee throws a solid leg kick but Robertsson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee.

Dave Robertsson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
