The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stomper closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Karasova quickly recovers to half guard.
Karasova is looking to control Stomper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Karasova avoid being mounted?
Stomper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Karasova's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karasova on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Karasova had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stomper defends it easily.
Stomper cracks Karasova with a solid left hand.

Stomper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karasova on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big shot lands for Stomper! That's hurt Karasova! Will he recover? Stomper fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
