The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morris wants it to stay on the feet.
Morris seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Morris blocks a head kick by Alexis.
A little feinted left hand from Morris on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Alexis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morris is fending him off so far but Alexis persists. Nope, Morris circles away and we're back to standing.

Morris's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Alexis has hold of Morris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Morris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Let's hope that Alexis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Igor Alexis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alexis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Alexis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Morris to keep the fight standing.

Morris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Alexis after a bit of a struggle.
