Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grady Mclaughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Youngblood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grady Mclaughlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Youngblood!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclaughlin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Youngblood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mclaughlin tries to avoid it but Youngblood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mclaughlin to the ground. Mclaughlin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Youngblood is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mclaughlin defends well.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Youngblood drops back looking for a leg! Mclaughlin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mclaughlin manages to kick Youngblood off! Youngblood jumps back into Mclaughlin's guard.

Mclaughlin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Mclaughlin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Youngblood for as long as he can get away with.
