Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Ray Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willis Slapaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willis Slapaho is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Ray Kshymensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willis Slapaho!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kshymensky scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Slapaho moves into the clinch successfully.

Kshymensky pulls Slapaho into guard.
Kshymensky manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Slapaho wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slapaho sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kshymensky is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Slapaho is trying to stand.
Slapaho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slapaho is looking to improve his position.
Kshymensky could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kshymensky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slapaho pinned against the cage. Slapaho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kshymensky shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kshymensky was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kshymensky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Slapaho is surviving well by controlling Kshymensky's body position as best he can.

Slapaho tries to hold on but Kshymensky pushes him away.
Slapaho can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kshymensky cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Slapaho tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Slapaho is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kshymensky wants to control the pace but Slapaho is squirming around nicely.

Slapaho wants to get back to his feet.

Slapaho is working to get back to half guard.
Kshymensky looking to control but Slapaho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Slapaho is squirming around, avoiding Kshymensky's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Slapaho in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Kshymensky tries to control but Slapaho wriggling away.
Kshymensky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Slapaho is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Slapaho tries to hold on but Kshymensky postures up.

Slapaho tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Slapaho is pressed up against the cage. Kshymensky has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Slapaho down to the mat. Slapaho avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Slapaho is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kshymensky trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Slapaho is wriggling around trying to escape.
Slapaho wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kshymensky.

Kshymensky looking to ground and pound but Slapaho is blocking nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kshymensky is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Kshymensky looking to control but Slapaho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kshymensky won't let Slapaho get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Kshymensky is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Slapaho has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Slapaho!

Slapaho decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kshymensky, up you get!

Kshymensky looks to land a combination but Slapaho avoids it well.
Slapaho lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Slapaho lands with a kick to the temple. Kshymensky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Slapaho tries to pull guard but Kshymensky won't allow it.

Slapaho gets to his feet - Kshymensky follows without any prompting.

Kshymensky moves into range and clinches up with Slapaho.
Slapaho goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kshymensky prevents it.
Jesse Ray Kshymensky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willis Slapaho.

Kshymensky works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Kshymensky tries to free his leg and advance position but Slapaho is retaining full guard.

Slapaho is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Slapaho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kshymensky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kshymensky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jesse Ray Kshymensky will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kshymensky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kshymensky tries to land knees in the clinch but Slapaho avoids the damage to the body.

Slapaho ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Slapaho no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Slapaho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kshymensky goes for a takedown attempt but Slapaho pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kshymensky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
