Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Buffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Wafel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Buffer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marek Wafel!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffer misses with a body shot.
Buffer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Wafel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buffer.
Wafel shoots in looking for a takedown but Buffer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wafel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A quick step to the side and Buffer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wafel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buffer as he jumps to the side.

Wafel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buffer's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wafel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Buffer tries to get to full guard but Wafel has control of the leg.

Wafel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Wafel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wafel in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wafel shoots in for a takedown but Buffer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bruce Buffer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Wafel.
Buffer wants to land a leg kick but Wafel is out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buffer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wafel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wafel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wafel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buffer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ground and pound from Wafel seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Wafel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buffer's shoulder. That is not cool.
It looks like Wafel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Wafel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wafel tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Wafel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wafel has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Buffer is looking to control Wafel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buffer avoid being mounted?

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Wafel looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

Wafel cracks Buffer with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Buffer from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Buffer is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Wafel.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wafel is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Buffer. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Marek Wafel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Buffer is staying active underneath Wafel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wafel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Let's hope that Wafel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Wafel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Buffer is looking to escape.
Buffer tries to lock up and control but Wafel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Wafel.

Wafel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wafel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Buffer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buffer tries to get out of the position.

I've got Wafel winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
