Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shotgun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PJ OBrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OBrien has chosen Gob - Paint it Black as his entrance music. Shotgun Rua is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OBrien tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rua paws at him with a jab and circles away.
OBrien moves in looking to clinch but Rua pushes him off.

OBrien wants to clinch.

OBrien misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
OBrien shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rua pinned against the cage. Rua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

OBrien fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rua.
