The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jamppa is able to avoid easily.
Jamppa's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kotov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jamppa scrambles back to his feet.
Kotov avoids the head kick by Jamppa.
Jamppa throws a head kick but Kotov moves out of range.
Jamppa plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Sergei Kotov has been cut.
A head kick by Jamppa misses
and Kotov counters with a good low kick that Jamppa was not able to check.
Jamppa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Perus Jamppa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jamppa lands a big head kick that sends Kotov to the canvas! Jamppa follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
