Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Morais misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Morais looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barrett lands a two punch combo.
Morais looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barrett darts in and clinches Morais up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barrett changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Morais fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Morais tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barrett swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barrett is looking to clinch but Morais is avoiding it.

Morais shoots in looking for a takedown. Barrett tries to sprawl out of it but Morais keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barrett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morais throws a head kick but Barrett moves out of range.
Morais tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barrett swivels and escapes.
Isreal Barrett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heber Morais .

Barrett shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Morais is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Barrett jumps into side control!

What's Morais going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Morais is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barrett is controlling him well.
Barrett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Morais manages to work his way to half guard, despite Barrett's best efforts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morais is defending against the submission attempts here by Barrett.

Morais has control of Barrett's left arm, preventing Barrett from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morais darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Barrett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morais on the ground.
Barrett is looking for a sweep. Morais is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Morais has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barrett defend it? Morais steps over the head and cranks it - Barrett is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Morais !
