Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wolfram Stelzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelzer comes to the cage accompanied by Satyricon - K.I.N.G.. Wolfram Stelzer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Wolfram Stelzer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Reefer!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stelzer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reefer counters with a good low kick that Stelzer was not able to check.
Stelzer works Reefer's body with a nice hook.

Stelzer dives in and scores a takedown into Reefer's guard.
Stelzer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reefer is proving hard to escape from.
Stelzer wants to control from the top but Reefer keeps moving.
We've been hearing that Stelzer has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Reefer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Reefer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Reefer wants to control but Stelzer is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stelzer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reefer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Stelzer is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Reefer still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Reefer has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Stelzer shoots in looking for a takedown. Reefer tries to sprawl out of it but Stelzer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reefer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Wolfram Stelzer has been cut.
Stelzer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reefer sees it coming and avoids it easily.

enabling Reefer to counter with a crisp jab.

A punch lands to the side of Reefer 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Reefer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Stelzer really felt that one!

Stelzer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Stelzer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
