Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Mason has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Troy Larson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson tries to bum rush Mason with a series of wild strikes but Mason uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mason drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Larson defends it well.
Mason lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mason throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larson was covering up waiting for the punch and Mason finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mason working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mason sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Larson's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason wants to pass to mount but Larson is defending the position.
Larson really is a fat lump.

Mason is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mason prevents Larson from standing back up.

Larson is defending against the submission attempts here by Mason.

Mason is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mason is looking to pass Larson's guard but actually Larson recovers to full guard.
Mason throws a big right hand that misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mason wants to pass the guard but Larson is keeping the position.
Larson wants to stand and escape but Mason is having none of it.
Larson can't keep his opponent in guard - Mason advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mason uses his free foot to push down on Larson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Larson.
Mason fails to take his opponent's back.

Mason quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Mason but it's paid off an Larson is forced to tap! Nice work by Mason.
