Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lindsay Singleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anrzej Strzelba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindsay Singleton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lindsay Singleton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anrzej Strzelba!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strzelba tries a head kick but it misses.

Strzelba shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Singleton is trying to stand.
Singleton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Well, if Strzelba is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Singleton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Strzelba is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singleton pushes Strzelba off looking to stand but Strzelba dives back in and keeps control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Strzelba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Singleton, pushing him back against the cage.

Strzelba works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Strzelba looking to sit in guard and control but Singleton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Singleton stays in close to Strzelba's body and controls the position.

Singleton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Strzelba, up you get!

Singleton throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Singleton thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Strzelba is stalling in the full guard.

Singleton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Strzelba controls Singleton momentarily but Singleton frees himself.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Singleton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Strzelba, up you get!

Singleton gets caught napping as Strzelba dives in and scores a takedown. Singleton manages to retain guard.

Singleton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Singleton gets to his feet - Strzelba follows without any prompting.
Strzelba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Singleton was well out of range. Poor timing from Strzelba.

Strzelba tries to circle away but Singleton has him pinned against the cage.
Singleton is trying to pull guard but Strzelba has him pressed against the cage.
Strzelba tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Singleton avoids it.
Come on Strzelba - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Strzelba wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Singleton is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Strzelba gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lindsay Singleton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Strzelba using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Singleton has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Anrzej Strzelba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Singleton throws a nice looking combination but Strzelba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Despite the aggression on Strzelba's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Strzelba gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Singleton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Strzelba smiles and moves away.

and Singleton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Strzelba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singleton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Strzelba drops back, looking for a kneebar! Singleton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Singleton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Singleton!

Singleton swings around for an armbar but Strzelba sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Singleton's guard.
Strzelba is looking to work some ground and pound but Singleton has wrist control.
Strzelba wants to stand and escape but instead Singleton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Singleton is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Singleton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Strzelba throws his legs up looking for a submission but Singleton uses it to pass to side control.
Strzelba takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Strzelba gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Singleton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Strzelba takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Anrzej Strzelba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Strzelba shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Singleton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Singleton tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Strzelba stalling away here and it's allowed Singleton to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Singleton doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Well Strzelba has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
