And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcos Pavil!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Willis counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pavil is trying to stand up here but Willis is controlling him well.

Willis throws some wild stikes that Pavil manages to avoid easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pavil is looking to improve his position but Willis isn't that keen on the idea.
Willis unloads with some shots from mount but Pavil bucks and avoids them well.
Pavil tries to buck Willis off but he can't manage it.
Willis lands a big shot there that rocks Pavil but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Willis cracks Pavil with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pavil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Pavil is desperately trying to improve his position but Willis has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pavil's face.

A big strike lands for Willis! That's really hurt Pavil and he's turned his back - Willis keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Willis jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
