The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Energy.
Energy connects with a right hand. Barnes shakes it off.
Energy throws a jab but it's blocked by Barnes.
Energy tries to bum rush Barnes with a series of wild strikes but Barnes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barnes swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

After the fight, Luke Barnes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
