Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Hoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jimenez drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jimenez chips away with some ground and pound.
Jimenez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jimenez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hoshi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jimenez on the ground.
Jimenez cracks Hoshi with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Yoshi Hoshi has been cut.
Jimenez tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Hoshi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jimenez asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hoshi seems a little lost for a moment, as Jimenez dominates the positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yoshi Hoshi's cut is getting worse.
Jimenez scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hoshi is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jimenez can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
