Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Takaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takaya clinches up against the cage.

Takaya ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Takaya no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Takaya looking for a guillotine here but Morton defends easily.
Morton wants to stand but Takaya has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Morton stands up and waves to Takaya to follow him.

Takaya moves into the clinch.

Takaya has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Morton uses from the top position.
Morton tries to stand but Takaya is controlling from the bottom.
Morton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Takaya is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morton defends well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morton wants to stand but Takaya has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takaya pushes a forearm under Morton's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Morton is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
