The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leijonen throws a head kick that misses
and Bulger counters by clinching up.
Leijonen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bulger blocks it with crossed arms.
Leijonen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Leijonen with a knee to the head.
It looks like Joseph Bulger has been cut.
Leijonen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Leijonen pushes Bulger back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Leijonen misses with some punches.
A nice left hand lands by Leijonen.
A knee to the head by Leijonen.
Bulger is rocked!

Bulger is still on wobbly legs! Can Leijonen finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Leijonen is pressed up against the ropes. Bulger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Leijonen down to the mat. Leijonen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Look low, kick high! Leijonen uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bulger tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Leijonen is absolutely delighted - when Bulger wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wander Leijonen!
A relieved looking Wander Leijonen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
