The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin dives in for a single leg takedown but Rajasa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rajasa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Putin shoots in for a takedown but Rajasa shows good takedown defense.
Rajasa darts in looking for a takedown but Putin gets double underhooks and turns Rajasa into the cage.
Rajasa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Putin sprawls well. Putin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rajasa gets slowly back to his feet.

and Rajasa counters with a series of strikes. Putin will be more careful next time no doubt.

Putin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rajasa is defending well.

Putin seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Rajasa is holding on tight.
Rajasa wants to hold on but Putin pushes him away.
