The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyotoku tries a head kick but it misses.
Toyotoku throws a sloppy head kick and Jimenez moves out of range easily.

Jimenez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jimenez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Toyotoku preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Jimenez thows a huge punch but Toyotoku dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toyotoku felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
