Iron comes into the arena with I Have a Dream blaring out of the sound system. Angle Iron had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Angle Iron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Apidej Sit Hirun!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sit Hirun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Angle Iron has been cut.

Iron gets a double leg takedown into Sit Hirun's guard.
Sit Hirun keeping moving, preventing Iron from controlling successfully.
Iron connects with a couple of short punches.

Iron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Iron stands and throws Sit Hirun's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iron prevents Sit Hirun from escaping the position.
Iron scoring with punches and elbows.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A lull in the action here as Iron stalls from top position.
Sit Hirun wants to get back to his feet.
Iron connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sit Hirun some visible discomfort.
Sit Hirun defending against the ground and pound.
Iron throws a strike aimed at the side of Sit Hirun's head but Sit Hirun avoids it well.
Iron misses with the ground and pound.
Iron misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Iron has knee on belly and moves into mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Iron misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Sit Hirun wants to get back to his feet.
Sit Hirun taking shots to the head.
Iron with the ground and pound from mount.
Iron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Iron punching from mount but Sit Hirun doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Iron throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Iron lands a nice shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Iron connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Sit Hirun is rocked!
Iron connects with a bit shot that sees Sit Hirun covering up! More strikes from Iron and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Iron is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angle Iron!
An out of breath and clearly excited Angle Iron thanked Valhalla Fight Wear for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
