Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord misses with a wild combination.

Lord tries to keep at a distance but WIsdom has taken the fight into the clinch.

WIsdom gets control of Lord's arms and successfully pulls guard. WIsdom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
WIsdom pulls Lord in to control the position.
Lord won't allow WIsdom to sweep him here.

WIsdom looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lord has picked WIsdom up and slammed him! WIsdom can't keep hold of the triangle and Lord manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
WIsdom wants to control but Lord postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lord tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Lord decides to stand up, so the ref orders WIsdom to his feet.

WIsdom closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lord did well to prevent WIsdom getting side control.
Lord has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. WIsdom is working away from the top position though.
WIsdom is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lord is looking for a sweep. WIsdom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

WIsdom slips a nice elbow through Lord's hands, connecting with Lord's forehead.
WIsdom takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lord is in trouble now - WIsdom has advanced to mount!
WIsdom controlling the position easily from mount.
Lord tries to hold on but WIsdom pushes him away.
WIsdom lands a nice shot to the head.
Lord tries to reverse the position but WIsdom maintains control.
The referee warns Lord that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lord is trying desperately to improve position.
A nice elbow there by WIsdom.
WIsdom tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
WIsdom tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
WIsdom controlling the position easily from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, WIsdom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lord tries to hold on but WIsdom postures up.
Lord keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

WIsdom goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lord is on top in guard.

WIsdom is looking for a triangle but Lord pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lord lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will WIsdom dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lord slips a jab and a cross from WIsdom.

Lord moves into range and clinches up with WIsdom.
WIsdom is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lord can do to turn this around?
Lord tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. WIsdom just stands there and leans against the cage.

WIsdom manages to pull guard.

WIsdom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lord defends it easily.
Will WIsdom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
WIsdom wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Lord must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lord wants to control from the top but WIsdom keeps moving.

WIsdom is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lord looking to sit in guard and control but WIsdom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

WIsdom stays in close to Lord's body and controls the position.
WIsdom has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lord working for a triangle but WIsdom defends it easily.
WIsdom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lord's guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. WIsdom connects with a nice short shot to Lord's temple.
WIsdom wants to stand but Lord has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
WIsdom controlling the action here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

WIsdom scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lord is looking to reverse the position.
Lord is breathing heavily.
Lord on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
WIsdom landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
WIsdom scores with punches from side control.
WIsdom wants to stand but Lord is controlling his arm.

WIsdom wants to stand but Lord has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
WIsdom is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, if WIsdom is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lord darts in trying to clinch

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
WIsdom throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lord circles away from the clinch attempt.
WIsdom fails to land the takedown.
WIsdom shoots in looking for a takedown but Lord manages to keep the fight standing, pushing WIsdom's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
WIsdom fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will WIsdom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lord misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lord rushes WIsdom and presses him up against the cage.

WIsdom is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lord can't fight it off and eventually WIsdom manages to take the fight to the floor. Lord looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lord escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. WIsdom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

WIsdom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lord is proving hard to escape from.
WIsdom pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lord is keeping the position for now.
WIsdom passes Lord's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Lord has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but WIsdom is on him like a limpet, forcing Lord back against the cage.

WIsdom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from WIsdom is defended easily by Lord.

WIsdom shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lord is trying to defend but WIsdom finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lord is trying to maintain the position but WIsdom is very close to passing his half guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for WIsdom, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
