Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jia O Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrick McWhiskey!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWhiskey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by O Connor.
McWhiskey throws a one two combo.

It looks like Jia O Connor has been cut.
O Connor looks to throw the jab but McWhiskey is out of range.
McWhiskey lands a nice shot to the body.
McWhiskey scores with a sloppy right hand. O Connor should have avoided that one.

McWhiskey rushes O Connor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
O Connor softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
McWhiskey misses with a knee strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McWhiskey tries a body shot but O Connor blocks it.

O Connor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! O Connor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McWhiskey - the referee stops the clock and O Connor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McWhiskey. O Connor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
O Connor is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McWhiskey drops O Connor with a straight right hand, right on the button! McWhiskey follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, Patrick McWhiskey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
