The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hustle throws a jab when Talon was well out of range.
Hustle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Talon in his tracks.

Talon clinches up against the cage.
Talon misses with a knee to the head.
Talon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A bit of stalling here from Talon.

Hustle prevents Talon from breaking the clinch.
Talon throws an elbow that misses.

Talon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hustle fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Talon on the side of the head.

Charlie Hustle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Talon moves in looking to clinch but Hustle pushes him off.

Hustle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Talon.
The fight stays on the outside here - Talon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hustle circles away from the clinch attempt.

Talon instigates a clinch.
Talon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hustle gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hustle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Talon tries to clinch there but Hustle circles away.
Hustle misses with an uppercut. Talon saw that one coming.
Hustle keeps the fight on the outside.
Hustle cracks the inside of Talon's front leg.
Charlie Hustle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hustle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Talon is looking to clinch but Hustle is avoiding it.
Talon takes a swing at Hustle's ribcage but misses.
Hustle takes one on the button.
Talon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hustle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The crowd cheers as Hustle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Talon doesn't seem phased though.
Talon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hustle.
Talon tries to clinch but Hustle moves out of range.
Talon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Danga de danga de dang - Talon scores with a four punch combination!
Hustle lands a nice shot that snaps Talon's head back.

Talon throws an elbow that misses.
Hustle can't break the clinch.
Hustle wants to break free but Talon has control.

Talon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hustle works the jab nicely.
Hustle throws an off balance right hand
and Talon counters with a series of strikes. Hustle will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hustle throws a right and a left that Talon avoids nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Talon wants a takedown.

Talon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hustle fights it off and pushes away nicely.
