Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Sarmacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feodoro Contadino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Feodoro Contadino!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Contadino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here.
Sarmacki can't do much from the bottom here.

Contadino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Contadino seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sarmacki is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Contadino pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Contadino stands and throws Sarmacki's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Contadino cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Contadino. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Sarmacki is covering up but some of the strikes from Contadino are getting through and doing damage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sarmacki breaks Contadino's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Contadino pulls Sarmacki in close to prevent any damage.

Contadino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarmacki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sarmacki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sarmacki fails with the takedown

and Contadino counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Contadino.

Sarmacki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Contadino is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sarmacki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Contadino's back instead.
Contadino really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Sarmacki's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Contadino manages to reverse the position and now he's in Sarmacki's guard. Nice work there by Contadino.

Feodoro Contadino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Let's hope that Contadino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Feodoro Contadino just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Contadino has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
