Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between JT Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Redman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Breathe - Prodigy. JT Redman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, JT Redman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Derrick Millar!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Millar throws out the jab.
Nice cross by Millar.


It looks like JT Redman has been cut.
Millar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Millar punishes Redman's body with a nice straight punch.
A swing and a miss from Redman.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Millar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Redman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Redman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Millar wants to slow Redman down by chopping away at his legs.
Redman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Redman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Derrick Millar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Millar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Redman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Good leg kick by Redman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Millar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Redman throws a hook to the side of Millar's head but Millar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Millar throws a good cross that connects.

Millar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Redman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Millar looks to clinch
and Redman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Redman misses with a series of wild punches.
Millar listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Redman lands a jab.
Redman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Millar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Redman throws a looping overhand right but Millar ducks down to avoid it.
Redman ducks under a wild hook from Millar.
A clash of legs there as Redman blocks the low kick.
Redman connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Millar connects with a solid leg kick.
Millar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Redman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Millar's calf.
Redman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Millar cracks the inside of Redman's front leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Derrick Millar will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on JT Redman's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Millar is still on wobbly legs! Can Redman finish him?
Millar misses with a left hand
and Redman counters with a low kick, right behind Millar 's knee.
Redman looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Redman backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Millar's temple! It sends Millar violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Redman celebrates and the doctors try to help Millar!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). JT Redman!
JT Redman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
