Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peekay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Noise Won't Stop. Kvasov has chosen Diskoteka avaria-Nebo as his entrance music. Peekay Williams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peekay Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Kvasov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasov throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Williams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kvasov's half guard.
Kvasov is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him
Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ground and pound from Williams.
Kvasov is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kvasov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.

Williams is looking for a kimura but Kvasov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williams to get the leverage.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Williams is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kvasov has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kvasov wants to stand back up but Williams manages to pass into side control.
Kvasov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Williams has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Williams misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kvasov wants to get back to his feet but Williams drags him back down.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kvasov bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

It looks like Peekay Williams has been cut.

Kvasov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Kvasov does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kvasov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Williams stuns Kvasov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Williams lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kvasov at a distance.
Kvasov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Williams clobbers Kvasov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Williams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kvasov as he avoids it easily.

Kvasov looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely.

Kvasov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams appears to be looking for a big counter.

Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kvasov manages to avoid it.

Williams moves forwards but Kvasov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Donk. Williams catches Kvasov right on the button with a cross.
Williams feints a jab promting Kvasov to slip. Williams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kvasov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Kvasov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Williams wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Williams.

Williams's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kvasov under the eye.

Williams feints and as Kvasov raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kvasov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kvasov throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily.
Kvasov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Williams wants to slow Kvasov down by chopping away at his legs.
A nice side step and Kvasov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Williams checks a leg kick.
Kvasov has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kvasov did well to prevent Williams getting side control.

Williams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kvasov has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Williams is on him like a limpet, forcing Kvasov back against the cage.

Kvasov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peekay Williams.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
