The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aljad throws a sloppy head kick and Jotko moves out of range easily.

Jotko has Aljad up against the cage in a clinch.
Jotko stalling the fight.
Jotko lands with a right to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jotko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jotko obliges.
Come on Aljad - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jotko manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aljad closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Jotko's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jotko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Aljad has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jotko is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Aljad is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Aljad tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Aljad has hold of Jotko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jotko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jotko tries to lock up and control but Aljad gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
