Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bay Mai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Entholt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bay Mai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bay Mai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Entholt!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Entholt is looking to clinch.

Mai gets caught flat footed, as Entholt shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Entholt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mai is keeping the position for now.
Entholt throws a strike but Mai rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Entholt looking for a guillotine here but Mai defends easily.
Mai wants to stand and escape but instead Entholt has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Entholt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Entholt has Mai in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mai accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Entholt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mai wants to get up but he can't break Entholt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Entholt throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mai trying to control the position from guard on top but Entholt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Entholt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Entholt can't keep his opponent in guard - Mai advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Mai is trying to control the action in half guard but Entholt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Mai seems content to control.
Mai is keen to just control but Entholt is a slippery customer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mai passes to full mount!

Entholt is looking to regain half guard here but Mai keeps moving and retains side control.
Entholt is not content to let Mai control the position.
Entholt is trying to control Mai's posture but Mai avoids it.
Entholt prevents Mai from improving position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Entholt wants to control but Mai postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Entholt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Entholt looks gassed!
Entholt cracks Mai with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Entholt.
Entholt throwing strikes but Mai manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Mai advances nicely into full mount.
Mai cracks Entholt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Mai get's back to his feet.
Entholt tries to close the distance and clinch but Mai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mai swinging wilding here.

Mai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bay Mai will probably get the nod.

Entholt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mai counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Entholt wants to get back to full guard.

Entholt is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Mai is tapping! Great win for Entholt!
