The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Rihmakallo or perhaps it was just good defense by Perry which made him look bad.
Rihmakallo fails to land with a series of punches.

Rihmakallo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rihmakallo working for a triangle but Perry defends it easily.
Perry slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rihmakallo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Perry wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rihmakallo is not content to let Perry control the position.

Perry wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rihmakallo, who protects the arm well.

Perry thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Perry is working for a kimura but Rihmakallo is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
