Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalevi Kumijalka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumijalka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. compella & the twister - put ur weed up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kalevi Kumijalka will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teppo Karhu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalevi Kumijalka!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karhu.
Karhu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kumijalka manages to avoid it.
Kumijalka plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Kumijalka moves into range and clinches up with Karhu.

Karhu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Karhu tries for a takedown but Kumijalka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Karhu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Karhu lands in his opponent's guard.

Karhu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kumijalka is fending him off so far but Karhu persists. Nope, Kumijalka circles away and we're back to standing.

Karhu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kumijalka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Karhu can't keep his opponent in guard - Kumijalka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Karhu is trying to maintain the position but Kumijalka is very close to passing his half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kumijalka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karhu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kumijalka.

Kumijalka decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Kalevi Kumijalka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Karhu throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Kumijalka works to advance to full mount. Karhu defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kalevi Kumijalka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kalevi Kumijalka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kumijalka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
