Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Dungy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dungy has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Melvin Dungy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dungy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dungy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Power pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Power shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dungy as he avoids it easily.
Power fails with the takedown.
Dungy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Power misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Power. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Power wants to clinch up but Dungy keeps it at a distance.
Power checks the leg kick.
Dungy dodges the punch combination from Power.
Power fails with the takedown.
Dungy tries to clinch up but Power circles away and keeps his distance.
Power tries to clinch there but Dungy circles away.
Dungy throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
Dungy looks gassed!
Power closes the distance and clinches up with Dungy, looking for a takedown. Power pushes Dungy against the cage but Dungy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Power will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Power fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Power takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Max Power has been cut.
Power looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dungy instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dungy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dungy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dungy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dungy throws a big right hand that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Power is on top in guard.
Dungy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dungy is trying to keep Power in close.
Power thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dungy keeping full guard, as Power tries to pass.
Dungy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Power stopping the sweep attempt from Dungy.
Dungy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dungy can't keep his opponent in guard - Power advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dungy won't allow Power to pass to mount.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Power fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Power chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dungy can pounce on him.
Dungy scores with a nice strike.

Power shoots for a takedown but Dungy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dungy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Power moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Power looks to score with a jab to the body but Dungy is just out of range.
A head kick by Power misses
and Dungy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Power is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dungy is looking to advance position but Power won't allow it.
Power looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Power is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Power is working hard here to advance position.
Power is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dungy pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Power closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dungy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dungy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Power has his foot on Dungy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dungy works his way back into a safe position though.
Power is looking for a triangle but Dungy pushes his legs off easily.
Power escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dungy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dungy lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Dungy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Max Power's cut.

Dungy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Power looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Power is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dungy has his hands clasped together but Power extends an breaks Dungy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Power.
