PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harris might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In Exile - Thrice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ethan Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to clinch but Freeman is having none of it.
Freeman keeps the fight on the outside.

so Freeman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Harris wants to stand up but Freeman is controlling him.

Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Freeman on the ground.

Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Freeman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harris's guard.

Harris is trying to maintain a safe position but Freeman gets an underhook and turns Harris into the cage.
Freeman tries to break free but Harris pushes him back against the cage.

Freeman is looking to control Harris's arms but Harris gets an underhook and turns him. Now Freeman has his back to the cage.
Freeman gets through Harris's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Harris pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Harris is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Freeman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Harris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Freeman has Harris pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Harris manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Freeman blocks the elbow strike.
Our sources have told us that Harris has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Freeman lands a hook that snaps the head of Harris backwards.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Harris just misses with a elbow thrown towards Freeman's brow.
Harris throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

With the fighters up against the cage, Harris throws an elbow but misses.
A right handed body shot lands from Freeman.
Harris pushes off an throws an elbow but Freeman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Harris bucks up and tries to throw Freeman off but instead Freeman has got his back!

Freeman is trying to trip Harris. He has hold of a leg but Harris is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Freeman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Harris can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Freeman controls the pace.
Harris is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Freeman is controlling him.

Well Freeman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
