Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micky Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Crenshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Micky Ward has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Micky Ward seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward scores with a jab to the head.

Ward feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Crenshaw sprawling to the canvas! Crenshaw rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ward finish him?!

Crenshaw is rocked!
Crenshaw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ward is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Crenshaw is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ward had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Crenshaw throws a nice looking combination but Ward bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ward walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Crenshaw drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ward swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Crenshaw's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A very excited looking Micky Ward rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
