Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinan Yak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdravko Dren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yak comes to the cage accompanied by Silahsiz Kuvvet - Sözlerim Silahim. Dren has chosen GETO BOYS - mind of a lunatic as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sinan Yak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Zdravko Dren!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dren displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yak.
Dren gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Yak dives in for a single leg takedown but Dren sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dren throws a lazy head kick

and Yak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dren's guard.
Dren wants to sweep here but Yak controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yak wants to control from the top but Dren keeps moving.

Yak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dren works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Yak's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Yak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dren wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dren uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yak has time to react.

Dren connects with a leg kick. Yak looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sinan Yak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dren leaves Yak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dren throws a fast counter high kick but Yak manages to duck under it in time.
Yak shoots in for a takedown but Dren shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dren throws a series of punches but Yak moves out of range.
Yak has his takedown stuffed
and Dren counters with a stiff right hand.
Dren throws a lazy right hand but Yak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dren circles away.

Dren swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dren defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yak.

Yak lands with an overhand left.
Yak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dren counters with a nice uppercut.
Yak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A head kick misses from Dren.

and Dren makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Yak is breathing heavily.
Yak fails with the takedown
and Dren counters with an inside leg kick.
Dren throws a head kick but Yak moves out of range.
Dren takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yak takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Dren counters with a head kick that drops Yak to the mat! Yak scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

It looks like Sinan Yak has been cut.
Dren looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dren dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yak. That did some damage!
Dren throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yak or perhaps it was just good defense by Dren, which made it look bad.
Yak moves out of range of the body kick.
Yak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dren defends it nicely.
Dren lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Yak shoots in looking for a takedown. Dren tries to sprawl out of it but Yak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dren manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dren throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dren throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dren stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dren wants it to stay on the feet.
Dren tries to land a leg kick but Yak saw it coming and moves away.
Yak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Yak throws a big shot that misses.
Dren has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Yak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dren swivels and escapes.
Dren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dren tries to sprawl but Yak drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dren is trying to get back to full guard.
Yak is thwarting Dren's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yak works his way into full mount!
Yak trying to control but Dren is having none of it.
Dren tries to lock up and control but Yak gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Yak lands with some strikes.

Sinan Yak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Yak postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dren badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Yak around the waist but Yak pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Yak is the winner by TKO! Yak jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
