Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Castro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Castro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jackson can't escape the position.
Castro lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Carter Jackson has been cut.
Jackson is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castro landing punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson is looking to get to half guard.

Jackson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Castro wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Castro drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Castro off! Castro jumps back into Jackson's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Castro is one step ahead there.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Castro tries a head kick but it misses.

Castro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Jeez, Carter Jackson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Castro throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Castro fails in his attempt to clinch.
Castro throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jackson.
Castro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Castro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson looks for a takedown but Castro sprawls well.

Castro has managed to clinch.
Castro scores with a knee to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carter Jackson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
