The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiles lands with a nice body kick.
Alberts walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hiles.
Alberts fails with a takedown attempt.
Hiles plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Alberts - that will leave a mark!
Alberts sizes up Hiles with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Hiles gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alberts to score an easy takedown into full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alberts with a flurry of punches that miss.
Alberts sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hiles's guard.
Hiles is breathing heavily.
Alberts with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alberts lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Alberts winds up and cracks Hiles with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hiles is rocked!
Alberts lands a big elbow - Hiles is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Alberts!
