Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fighterfour Fighterfour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighterfour Fighterfour has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Tran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fighterfour Fighterfour!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tran drives through and clinches with Fighterfour against the cage.

Fighterfour gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fighterfour not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fighterfour should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fighterfour slows the pace down in half guard.
Fighterfour has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tran is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fighterfour pulls his head out easily.
Fighterfour moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Tran.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tran is not content to let Fighterfour control the position.

Fighterfour postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fighterfour tries to advance to mount but Tran instead regains half guard.
Fighterfour trying to control the pace.
Tran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fighterfour on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tran is not content to let Fighterfour control the position.

Tran actively working from the bottom here.
Tran is looking for a sweep. Fighterfour is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fighterfour Fighterfour seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tran is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Tran rushes Fighterfour and presses him up against the cage.

Fighterfour wants the takedown. Tran is fighting it off but Fighterfour persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tran's guard against the cage.

Fighterfour jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tran manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fighterfour is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tran is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tran gets tackled into the cage by Fighterfour. Fighterfour maintains the clinch.
Fighterfour blocking some punches.

Fighterfour breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fighterfour misses with a body kick.

Fighterfour scores with a takedown into Tran's guard.
Tran is striking but Fighterfour is not phased and passes to half guard.

Fighterfour seems to be looking for submissions.

Tran pushes Fighterfour off but Fighterfour dives into side control.
Fighterfour tries to advance to mount but Tran denies him.
Fighterfour wants to control but Tran is keeping him busy.
Fighterfour wants to stand but Tran has his arm trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighterfour tries for a kimura but Tran is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tran taking a bit of punishment here - Fighterfour scoring with strikes.
Fighterfour postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Fighterfour moves into full mount!

Fighterfour wants to control the action but instead Tran gets a body lock and reverses into Fighterfour's guard! Nice work!
Fighterfour wants to stand but Tran is controlling the position.
Tran content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Tran is in close to Fighterfour's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tran missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tran throws a strike but Fighterfour rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fighterfour pushing down on Tran's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Fighterfour is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tran is refusing to be controlled, as Fighterfour sits in half guard.

Fighterfour Fighterfour showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Fighterfour rushes Tran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fighterfour's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fighterfour closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fighterfour missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fighterfour is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fighterfour is trying to work for a kimura but Tran is defending well.
Fighterfour wants to control but Tran is keeping him busy.
Fighterfour has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Tran punching from the bottom.
Fighterfour throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fighterfour content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fighterfour shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tran is trying to defend but Fighterfour finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fighterfour uses his free foot to push down on Tran's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tran.
Fighterfour can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tran is looking to escape.

Fighterfour goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tran is on top in guard.
Fighterfour Fighterfour has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tran working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Fighterfour striking off his back but it's not causing Tran any problems.
Fighterfour trying to control the position.
Tran with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fighterfour is controlling Tran's posture.
Tran won't allow Fighterfour to sweep him here.
Tran has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tran throws an elbow that misses. Fighterfour uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tran's guard. Nice move by Fighterfour!

Fighterfour wants to control from the top but Tran keeps moving.
Tran will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
