And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maleko Kaleoikaikaokalani!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a sloppy head kick and Kaleoikaikaokalani moves out of range easily.
Hunter misses with a lunging right hand
and Kaleoikaikaokalani counters with a left to the body.
Hunter lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kaleoikaikaokalani throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hunter on the side of the head.
It looks like Xavier Hunter has been cut.
Kaleoikaikaokalani lands a really nice looking cross but Hunter seems unphased.
Hunter lets loose with a powerful body kick. Kaleoikaikaokalani will feel that in the morning.
Kaleoikaikaokalani connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hunter moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hunter loses concentration momentarily and Kaleoikaikaokalani pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Hunter crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kaleoikaikaokalani finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Maleko Kaleoikaikaokalani!
