Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peel Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Torres!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel moves into the clinch.
Good body shot from Steel.
Torres tries to pull guard but Steel holds him up against the cage and eventually Torres drops back down to his feet.
Steel stops a takedown attempt from Torres.
Steel avoids the elbow strike from Torres, against the cage.
Steel has Torres pushed against the cage.
Steel will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Torres up against the cage.
Steel lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Steel gets underhooks to prevent Torres's takedown attempt.

Torres should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steel shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Steel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Torres has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Torres has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Steel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Steel lands a good knee to the midsection. Torres won't want to take too many of those.

Peel Steel showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Steel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
