Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanning Hatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dollar Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tanning Hatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dollar Bill!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill tries to clinch but Hatum is having none of it.
A right-left combo lands from Hatum.

Hatum darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hatum wants to advance to full mount but Bill doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Hatum's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hatum wants to get up but he can't break Bill's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bill will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Hatum controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hatum fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bill sprawls well initially but Hatum persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hatum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bill on the ground.
Bill wants to improve his position but Hatum is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bill trying to hold on to Hatum's head to control him but Hatum postures up.
Bill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hatum is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bill has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bill wants to improve his position but Hatum is controlling well.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bill wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hatum is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bill's half guard.

Hatum is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hatum tries to stand and escape but Bill is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bill looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bill is looking to improve his position.
Hatum is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tanning Hatum dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hatum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bill fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hatum stuffs the takedown.
Hatum shoots in looking for a takedown. Bill tries to sprawl out of it but Hatum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bill.
Tanning Hatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dollar Bill.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hatum fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bill to the ground. Hatum is now in Bill's guard.
Hatum wants to get up but he can't break Bill's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hatum drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bill manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hatum has Bill in his guard.

Hatum has momentary wrist control but Bill slips an elbow through the middle.
Hatum is pulling down on Bill's head. It's preventing any offense from Bill, at least for the moment.
Tanning Hatum overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hatum wants to hit a switch here but Bill passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hatum there!

Bill has hold of Hatum's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hatum manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bill blocks Hatum's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Bill trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hatum is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bill can do to turn this around?
Hatum can't escape the position.
Hatum tries to hold on but Bill pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bill moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hatum has worked his arm free - good work by Hatum!

Bill is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hatum looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bill gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hatum is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bill lets go of the hold and Hatum can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dollar Bill!
Dollar Bill decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
