Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Mylleri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Zumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leo Mylleri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Zumo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mylleri takes a swing at Zumo's ribcage but misses.

We've been hearing good reports from Mylleri's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mylleri lands a really nice looking cross but Zumo seems unphased.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mylleri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mylleri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zumo goes for a double leg but Mylleri avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mylleri continues to drive forward.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leo Mylleri.
I think Mylleri has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
