Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Heely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heely's entrance music is ghetts-top 3 selected. A fine choice. Vincent Chase has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heely's waist but Heely gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chase off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Heely avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chase shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Heely as he avoids it easily.
No joy there for Heely, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chase gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chase shoots for a takedown but Heely saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Heely is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chase gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Chase turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Heely is looking to reverse the position.
Chase looks up at the clock and then as Heely takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chase smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Heely tries to bench press Chase off him but Chase keeps the position.

Chase stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Chase tries to clinch but Heely is having none of it.

Heely drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chase looking for a sweep. Not yet Chase, not yet.
Chase wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Chase has his foot on Heely's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heely works his way back into a safe position though.

Chase escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Heely lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Heely decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chase, up you get!

Chase wants to control but Heely is keeping him busy.
Heely misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Chase is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Heely is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Heely tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chase wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Heely is trying to control Chase's posture but Chase avoids it.
Chase is looking to take a break and control but Heely is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chase stands up and beckons Heely to his feet.

Heely gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chase with a knee to the head.
Heely tries to break the clinch but Chase is controlling the position.
Chase wants to stall.
Chase tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Heely just stands there and leans against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Vincent Chase will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chase moves into the clinch successfully.
Heely is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Chase gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Chase breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Heely shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Chase manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Heely looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chase with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Chase is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Heely scores with a couple of nice shots.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chase tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Heely thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chase's head.

Heely gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Chase feints and as Heely raises his hands in defense, Chase changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Heely is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chase is controlling him.
Chase tries to free his leg and advance position but Heely is retaining full guard.

Heely manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Chase shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

The fight stays on the outside here - Chase looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Chase working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Heely doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Heely manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Heely wants to get up but he can't break Chase's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Chase changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heely tries to avoid it but Chase manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heely to the ground. Heely escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Heely throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chase moves in looking to clinch but Heely pushes him off.
Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heely swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chase chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Heely can pounce on him.
Chase misses with a takedown attempt - Heely sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Heely closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chase to the mat! Chase manages to get full guard.
