Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ackmud Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen entersandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rick Kane has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Rick Kane has been cut.
Muhammad throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Muhammad lands with a nice combination. Kane backs away looking to recover.
Kane shoots in but Muhammad avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kane is rocked!
Muhammad thows a body shot but no joy.
Muhammad misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ackmud Muhammad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Kane.
Muhammad throws a right hand that Kane ducks under and follows up with a left that Kane also avoids with ease.

Kane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Muhammad tries to avoid it but Kane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Muhammad to the ground. Muhammad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kane tries to roll over but Muhammad keeps him under control.

Muhammad postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kane to stand up.

The cut above Rick Kane's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kane throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Muhammad escapes and throws Kane's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Muhammad is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Muhammad thuds his right hand into Kane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rick Kane's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No joy there for Muhammad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kane is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Muhammad has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Muhammad!

Kane has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Muhammad escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Muhammad!

Muhammad decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kane to his feet.
Muhammad throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kane swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Muhammad is now in Kane's guard. A big mistake from Kane there, giving up the dominant position!

Kane has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Muhammad is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kane.

Kane tries to bench press Muhammad off him but Muhammad keeps the position.
Kane is trying to work for a sweep but Muhammad has mounted him!
Kane is looking to improve his position but Muhammad isn't that keen on the idea.

Muhammad keeps control of the position as Kane tries to break free.
Muhammad has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kane's body.
Kane breaks Muhammad's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Kane drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Muhammad manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kane has Muhammad in his guard.

Kane throws his legs up looking for a submission but Muhammad uses it to pass to side control.

Kane tries to buck Muhammad off but Muhammad is having none of it.
Kane throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Ackmud Muhammad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Muhammad has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Kane misses with a takedown
and Muhammad counters with a right hand to the body.
Muhammad keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Muhammad pinned against the cage. Muhammad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Muhammad tries to bum rush Kane with a series of wild strikes but Kane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Muhammad circles away.

Kane drops back, looking for a kneebar! Muhammad looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Muhammad looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Muhammad!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kane bucks up and tries to throw Muhammad off but instead Muhammad has got his back!

Rick Kane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kane is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Muhammad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ackmud Muhammad.
Well Muhammad has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
