The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fl works Gracie 's body with a nice hook.
Fl throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fl throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fl misses with a body shot.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Fl.
Gracie attempts a counter takedown but Fl avoids it well and moves away.
Wo Fl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fl misses with a straight left.
Fl throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fl. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fl throws a head kick that misses

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie content to control rather than advance.
Fl wants to control the action here but instead Gracie manages to pass to full mount!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Fl looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Gracie ! Submission of the night perhaps?
