The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown works to advance to full mount. Meade defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Brown has hold of Meade's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Meade manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Brown avoids the attempt from Meade to control.

Brown goes for an armbar but Meade turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Meade.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Meade manages to get himself to full guard.
