The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnars throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Phelps was covering up waiting for the punch and Lesnars finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Phelps looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lesnars stays in close to Phelps's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lesnars creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Phelps is trying to maintain a safe position but Lesnars gets an underhook and turns Phelps into the cage.

Lesnars is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Phelps like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Phelps from another fist facial!
