Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Touko Unikeko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unikeko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gesaffelstein - Opr. Heed is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gentlelman. Mongolia Heed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Touko Unikeko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mongolia Heed!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unikeko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Heed manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Heed takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Heed closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Unikeko's guard.
Heed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Unikeko is keeping the position for now.
Heed stays in close to Unikeko's body and controls the position.
Unikeko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heed missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Unikeko lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Heed is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Unikeko wants to clinch up but Heed keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Heed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Heed has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Unikeko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Touko Unikeko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mongolia Heed.
Unikeko is pushing Heed up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Unikeko tries to land knees in the clinch but Heed avoids the damage to the body.
Unikeko lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Unikeko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Unikeko seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Unikeko throwing strikes here but Heed is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unikeko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Heed can do to turn this around?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Unikeko lands a big elbow.

Unikeko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Heed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Heed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Unikeko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Heed tries to hold on but Unikeko pushes him away.

Unikeko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Heed has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Heed!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Unikeko slips nicely into half guard.

Heed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Unikeko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Unikeko tries to clinch but Heed moves out of range.
Heed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Heed gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Well Unikeko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
