Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Longhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Mood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Longhall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bad Mood!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longhall throws the kick towards the body but Mood avoids it.
Mood fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Longhall.
Mood shoots in and drives through. Longhall sprawls well.
Mood dodges the punch combination from Longhall.
Longhall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mood drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Longhall defends it well.

Mood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Longhall was covering up waiting for the punch and Mood finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mood wants to control from the top but Longhall keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mood tries to free his leg and advance position but Longhall is retaining full guard.

Longhall keeping moving, preventing Mood from controlling successfully.
Longhall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mood is one step ahead there.
Mood is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mood tries to free his leg and advance position but Longhall is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mood fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jake Longhall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Mood.
No luck for Mood with that takedown attempt.
Mood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Longhall defends it nicely.
As Mood tries to get set, Longhall tries to push him back and clinch up but Mood manages to avoid the attempt.

Longhall stops a takedown attempt from Mood.
Mood looking for a takedown.
Mood can't get the takedown.
Longhall is pressed up against the cage. Mood has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Longhall down to the mat. Longhall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Longhall sprawls well. Longhall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mood gets slowly back to his feet.
Longhall seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Mood shoots for a takedown but Longhall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Longhall moves into the clinch.
Longhall gets underhooks to prevent Mood's takedown attempt.
Longhall lands a nice elbow.
Mood wants a takedown.
Mood looks winded!

Longhall breaks the clinch.

Longhall drops Mood with a beautiful combination! Mood stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Longhall is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mood is still on wobbly legs! Can Longhall finish him?

Longhall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Longhall throws a right hand that Mood ducks under and follows up with a left that Mood also avoids with ease.
Mood seems to have recovered his senses.
Mood tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Longhall defends well and Mood ends up having to push Longhall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Longhall pinned against the cage. Longhall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Longhall avoids it really well and circles away.
A punch combination from Longhall misses.
Mood fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mood avoids a punch combination nicely.

Longhall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mood shoots in and drives through. Longhall sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Longhall stuffs the takedown attempt from Mood. Mood gets slowly back to his feet.
Longhall seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Longhall scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Longhall moves into the clinch successfully.

Longhall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mood closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Longhall quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mood is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Longhall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mood.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mood is controlling the pace.

Longhall tries to get to full guard but Mood has control of the leg.
Longhall won't allow Mood to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Longhall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mood controlling the action here.
Longhall is trying to stand up here but Mood is controlling him well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Mood shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mood seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Longhall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mood stalling away here and it's allowed Longhall to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Mood passes into half guard.
Longhall is concentrating on defense, preventing Mood from advancing position.
Mood sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Mood wants to lay and pray for a moment but Longhall keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mood slows the pace down in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mood is looking to advance position but Longhall won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Longhall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bad Mood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mood closes this distance looking for a takedown but Longhall circles away.
Jake Longhall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Mood.
Mood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Longhall pinned against the cage. Longhall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Longhall shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mood eats them both and turns towards Longhall to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Longhall connects with a looping right hand.
Mood avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mood slips a jab and a cross from Longhall.
Mood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Longhall as he avoids it easily.
Longhall tries to bum rush Mood with a series of wild strikes but Mood uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mood is defended easily by Longhall.
Longhall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Longhall lands a left and a right that send Mood crashing to the mat, dazed. Longhall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Longhall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mood can do to turn this around?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Longhall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mood is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Longhall throws a nice looking combination but Mood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mood changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Longhall fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Longhall sprawls well. Longhall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mood gets slowly back to his feet.
Mood moves forwards but Longhall connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Longhall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mood stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mood tries for a takedown but Longhall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Longhall throws a quick counter head kick but Mood was just out of range.
Mood takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Longhall throws a sloppy head kick and Mood moves out of range easily.
Longhall throws a right and a left that both miss.

Longhall moves into range and clinches up with Mood.
Longhall is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mood drops down looking for an ankle pick but Longhall pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Longhall avoids it really well and circles away.
Mood fails with the takedown.
Mood takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mood gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Longhall makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Longhall tries to bum rush Mood with a series of wild strikes but Mood uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Longhall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Longhall lands a left and a right that send Mood crashing to the mat, dazed. Longhall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Longhall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longhall tries to get out of the position.
Mood trying to control from half guard but Longhall is working away.
Longhall wants to get back to his feet.
Longhall is controlling Mood's trapped leg to prevent Mood from advancing to side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
