Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Pease (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Noisy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dalton Pease has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dalton Pease!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Noisy!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noisy fails with a takedown attempt.
Pease scores with a decent looking hook.
Noisy moves in looking to clinch but Pease pushes him off.
Noisy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pease tried to counter with a leg kick but Noisy avoided it.

Pease moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noisy is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Pease gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Pease controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pease is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Pease trying to advance position but Noisy counters by regaining guard.
Noisy keeping moving, preventing Pease from controlling successfully.
Pease is looking to stand up but Noisy won't let him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pease passes Noisy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Noisy is not content to let Pease control the position.

Pease is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Noisy has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pease is stalling here. Noisy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pease seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Noisy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Noisy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Noisy tries to clinch but Pease is having none of it.
Noisy misses with a wild combination.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pease checks a leg kick.
Pease tries to counter with a takedown but Noisy is quick to defend against it.
A head kick misses from Noisy.
A quick step to the side and Pease tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Noisy looks to land a left hand but Pease moved out of range nicely.
Pease changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Pease moves into the clinch successfully.

Pease pulls Noisy into guard.
Pease seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Pease wants to sweep here but Noisy controlling him for the moment.
Pease is working hard here to advance position.

Pease is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Noisy is aware though and is defending well.

Pease has a closed guard, preventing Noisy from standing up.
Noisy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Pease working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Noisy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Noisy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Noisy stands up and waves to Pease to follow him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Pease dives in and scores a takedown into Noisy's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noisy misses with a low kick.

Noisy closes the distance and pushes Pease back into the cage.
Noisy is trying to force a seperation but Pease has the dominant position.

Pease's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pease fails to land with a series of punches.

Pease manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Noisy on his heels. He'll look to pass Noisy's guard now, I'm sure.

Pease postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Noisy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pease, into his guard.

Noisy wants to stand but Pease is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pease is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Noisy can do to turn this around?

Pease pushes Noisy off and scrambles back to his feet.

Pease misses with a low kick.

Pease moves into range and clinches up with Noisy.

Pease turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pease manages to end up in side control.
Noisy regains half guard there - taking advantage of Pease's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Noisy tries to kick Pease off but Pease keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pease throws a strike but Noisy avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Pease trying to control the position from guard on top but Noisy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noisy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pease is controlling him.

Pease stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Pease closes the distance and pushes Noisy back into the cage.

Pease is trying to trip Noisy. He has hold of a leg but Noisy is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pease persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Pease trying to control but Noisy is working from the bottom.
Dalton Pease overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Pease trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pease is really struggling to control Noisy but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Pease looking to sit in guard and control but Noisy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pease wants to stand but Noisy is controlling the position.

Pease is looking for a triangle but Noisy pushes his legs off easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Noisy postures up.
Pease looking for a sweep. Not yet Pease, not yet.
Pease looking to control but Noisy passes into half guard.

Noisy stands up out of the half guard.
Nick Noisy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noisy throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Noisy tries to clinch there but Pease circles away.
Pease moves in looking to clinch but Noisy pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dalton Pease dominated that second round.
That's time! Pease's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Noisy throws a sloppy head kick
and Pease counters with a nice low kick that buckles Noisy's knee momentarily.
Pease fails with an attempt to clinch.
Noisy raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Pease tries to clinch there but Noisy circles away.
Noisy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pease keeps the fight on the outside.
Pease feinted with a counter takedown.

Pease drives through and clinches with Noisy against the cage.
Noisy looking to stall.
Noisy stalling in the clinch but Pease improves position.

Pease has clasped his hands together around Noisy's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Pease is looking to take a break and control but Noisy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Noisy can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Noisy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Pease instigates a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Noisy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pease pressing his opponent against the cage.
Noisy fails to pull guard.

Pease gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Noisy regains guard.

Pease drops back, looking for a kneebar! Noisy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Noisy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Noisy!

You can see the frustration on Pease's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pease is looking to reverse the position.

Noisy stands up.
A good leg kick by Pease.
Pease tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Noisy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Noisy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pease clinches with his opponent.
Noisy is trying to break the clinch but Pease is controlling him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pease gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Noisy regains guard.
Pease pushing down on Noisy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Nick Noisy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dalton Pease is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pease seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
