The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lokren throws a hook to the side of Melet's head but Melet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Melet on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Lokren rushes Melet and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lokren tries to circle away but Melet has him pinned against the cage.
Lokren working hard to break the clinch.
Lokren is trying to break the clinch but Melet is controlling him.
Lokren working hard to break the clinch.
Melet tries to land a knee to the head but Lokren blocks with his arms.
Lokren is trying to force a seperation but Melet has the dominant position.
Melet stalls.

Melet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Melet rushes Lokren and presses him up against the cage.
Lokren is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Melet manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Lokren is looking to stand up but Melet won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lokren wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Melet's closed guard. He's half up but Melet has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Melet pivots and extends the arm, Lokren falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Melet! Well done that man!
